Football in Paris

Football is the most popular sport, both in terms of participants and spectators, in Paris. Paris has several of France's significant football clubs, and the city is home to many football clubs.

Paris Saint-Germain FC is Paris's most successful club.

Stade de France, France's national stadium is just north of Paris. It is the home venue of the France national football team and has traditionally hosted the Coupe de France Final since 1998.

4 clubs based in Paris – RC Paris, Club Français, Red Star F.C., CA Paris-Charenton were participated in 1932–33 French Division 1 as founding members.[1]
