Formamidinium
Formamidinium cations are positively charged organic chemical compounds which can be represented by the chemical formula [R2N-CH=NR2]+.
Chemical applications
Deprotonation of formamidinumium salts[1] gives stable carbenes which can be represented by the chemical formula R2N-C:-NR2.
