Square Go (2014) The Fourth Annual ICW Square Go (2015) Square Go (2016)

The Fourth Annual Square Go (2015) was a professional wrestling event produced by ICW. It took place on January 25, 2015 at the ABC in Glasgow, Scotland. It was the fourth annual Square Go event and the first to be uploaded to ICW On Demand within 24 hours.

Event

The commentators were Billy Kirkwood and Sean David. Simon Cassidy handled ring introductions. In-between the three main matches and the main event, Mark Dallas ICW owner announced he would be taking a step back from the running of the shows for the upcoming year as he promised to have a TV deal for ICW by the end of 2015.

Main card

The Card included 3 matches and the Square Go main event. Joe Coffey put out an open Iron Man challenge to the wrestling community and Manchester-Based Jack Gallagher accepted the 30 minute challenge. It was a hard fought technical and brutal match in which each was tested for the full 30 minutes, and attempted to pin multiple times. It was only in the last 10 seconds that Coffey managed to pin Gallagher for the win. The two shook hands and Coffey soaked up the applause.

Drew Galloway then defended his ICW Heavyweight title against the winner of last year’s Square Go contact Chris Renfrew as he cashed in at the last moment possible. This was again another hard fought match, with the fight escaping into the crowd and all around the ABC, including Renfrew being thrown by Galloway into two tables from the stage. Galloway successfully defended his title.

BT Gunn then took on Wolfgang in a brutal steel cage match, in which both clawed their way out of the Steel Cage multiple times before Wolfgang brought out a Chain and Dog Collar and put them around the neck an incapacitated BT Gunn. When Gunn came around and got the upper hand, he left the Steel Cage and started to climb down, Wolfgang then grabbed the chain wrapped it around the cage and pulled it, hanging Gunn, and forcing him to climb back up. The fight continued on, and BT Gunn again was outside the ring on his way to victory, when Wolfgang grabbed his legs through the Steel Cage and wrapped the chain around them, giving Wolfgang the opportunity to win.

Main event

The main event of the night was a 30-man Square Go match where the winner will receive a contract for an ICW Heavyweight Championship match at the time of their choosing over the next twelve months. During the match there were a few storylines started or continued, including four wrestlers teaming up, throwing out the competition and eliminating themselves from the match. A new entrant came out approximately every 90 seconds. Dickie Divers was the winner of the match.[1]
