Fox family (English aristocracy)

The Fox family is a noble family of England that held the title of Baron Holland (now extinct) and still holds the title of Earl of Ilchester.

Princess Marie of Liechtenstein, the adopted daughter of the last Baron Holland, was a member of the family.

  1. 1 2 The title of Baron Holland was created twice, firstly of Holland in the County of Lincoln in 1762 for Caroline Fox, and secondly of Foxley in the County of Wiltshire in 1763 for her husband, Henry Fox. Both titles were inherited by their son Stephen.[lower-roman 1]
