Michèle Cortes de Leone y Fabianera, better known as her stage name Françoise Fabian (French: [fabjɑ̃]; born 10 May 1933), is a French film actress. She has appeared in more than 80 films since 1956.
Life
She was born in Algiers, French Algeria to a Spanish father and a Polish mother.[1] She have Franco-Spanish origins by her father and Russian-Polish by her mother.
Debut
She began her artistic training at the Algiers Conservatory of Music, where she learned piano and harmony. After graduation, she moved to Paris in the early 1950s, and is at the CNSAD, where she meets Jean-Paul Belmondo and Jean-Pierre Marielle.
Personnal Life
She is the widow of screenwriter and director Jacques Becker and actor Marcel Bozzuffi.
