Frances "Franny" Healy (born 24 August 1970) is an Irish actress, comedian, radio personality and TV presenter. She starred as Niamh Corrigan in the famous BBC Scotland soap opera River City. Other television credits include Taggart and the Irish soap Fair City. Film credits include The Magdalene Sisters and The Serpent's Kiss, where she starred alongside Ewan McGregor. Theatre credits include The Vagina Monologues, The Seagull and Juno and the Paycock.

Frances does stand up comedy, in venues all around Scotland including Mad Cap Comedy Club at The State Bar in Glasgow, Scotland's oldest running comedy club. Capital Comedy at The Path Tavern in Kirkcaldy, Hamish's Hoose in Paisley, Splintered Comedy in The Woodside in Musselburgh, Comedy In Action in Peebles, The Doghouse in Dundee, Hootenannies in Inverness, The Comedy Cave at Nichol Edwards Tavern in Edinburgh and The Stand Comedy in both Glasgow and Edinburgh.

She was the winner of best new comedy act at The Govan Celtic Fringe Festival in 2004 and a semi finalist in Channel 4 "So You Think Your Funny" competition. She has recently come back from New York where she performed in various comedy clubs including: The Comedy Cellar, Gotham City Improv and The Comic Strip.
