Frances Ward (priest)

Frances Elizabeth Fearn Ward is a theologian[1] and the current Dean of St Edmundsbury.[2]

Ward was born in Geelong on 16 September 1959 and educated at The King's School, Ely and the universities of St Andrews and Manchester. She was ordained deacon in 1989 and priest in 1994.[3] She was then a tutor at Northern College[4] until 1998 and then Vicar of St Peter’s Bury[5] until 2005. She was a residentiary canon[6] at Bradford Cathedral until her current appointment.[7]
