Princess Francine Petrović Njegoš of Montenegro (27 January 1950 6 August 2008) was the wife of Prince Nicholas of Montenegro, the pretender to the throne of Montenegro.

Biography

Princess Francine was born in Casablanca, Morocco, the daughter of Antoine Navarro (1922–1989) and Rachel Wazana (b. 1929).[2]

Living in Morocco until the age of 12, her family emigrated to France and settled in Bouches-du-Rhône, Marseille, where her father made career in the French Foreign Legion.[3]

She studied Law in Paris. She was established as a stylist and fashion designer.

She died in Paris on 6 August 2008.[4][5]

Marriage and children

In 1976 she married Prince Nikola of Montenegro in Trebeurden, Côtes-du-Nord on 27 November.[2] Together they raised a family at Les Lilas, France;
