Francis Ngannou (born September 5, 1986) is a French-Cameroonian mixed martial artist. He is currently competing in the Ultimate Fighting Championship as a heavyweight. He has a 7-1-0 record and is currently training with MMA Factory.
Career
Ngannou began his MMA career with French promotion 100% Fight. Ngannou fought his first fight at Fight 100%-Contenders 20, on November 30th 2013. He defeated Rachid Benzina in the fight via armbar, in the 1st round. Ngannou suffered his first and only loss at the promotion against Zoumana Cisse, due to a unanimous decision. Before signing with the UFC, Ngannou also fought at SHC and KHK. So far in the UFC Ngannou has won his first two fights, against Luis Henrique Barbosa de Oliveira and Curtis Blaydes.
