Francisco Sierra (artist)
For the Mexican boxer, see Francisco Sierra.
Francisco Sierra is an award-winning contemporary artist.[1][2][3][4] He was born in Chile in 1977 and moved with his family to Switzerland in 1986.
Sierra is noted for humorous, often bizarre, photorealist oil paintings of "breath-taking perfection".[5] His work has been noted in international publications such as Frieze (magazine) which pointed out with demure understatement that he "can paint rather well".[6] He is also a sculptor.
