Francoise Baylis

Francoise Baylis is a Canadian ethicist. She is since 1996 a Professor of and Canada Research Chair in Bioethics and Philosophy at Dalhousie University.[1] An elected Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada and the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences,[2] she previously served as an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She was the principal investigator for the "Therapeutic Hopes and Ethical Concerns: Clinical Research in the Neurosciences" Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) project and is currently leading the CIHR study "States of Mind: Emerging Issues in Neuroethics."
