Frank McKelvey Bell
Lieutenant-Colonel Frank McKelvey Bell was a Canadian soldier and author who penned A Romance of the Halifax Disaster (1918). The novel was based on his experiences in the medical wards after the Halifax Explosion of 1917. In the disaster's aftermath, Bell was the chair of the medical relief committee.
