Frantzén

Frantzén/Lindeberg, December 2010

Frantzén, until 2013 Frantzén/Lindeberg, is a restaurant in Gamla stan in Stockholm, situated on Lilla Nygatan number 21. In 2010, it received two stars in Guide Michelin, and is as of 2015 one of three two-starred restaurants in Sweden and seven in the Nordic countries.[1][2]

The restaurant opened in 2008 at the same address as the small one-star restaurant Mistral, which had closed in December 2007. It is run by chef Björn Frantzén and pastry chef Daniel Lindeberg,[3] who had both worked at Edsbacka krog (Sweden's first restaurant with two Michelin stars) before deciding on opening their own restaurant. In 2009, the restaurant was awarded its first Michelin star, and in 2010 the second star followed.[4]

Lindeberg left the restaurant in 2013 which left to a name change from Frantzén/Lindeberg to Frantzén.
