Fred Jarrett is the Deputy King County Executive and a former Democratic member of the Washington State Senate, representing the 41st district since January 2009. He was first elected to the Washington House of Representatives in 2001 as a Republican, serving four terms. He switched parties in 2007.[1] In 2010 he was appointed as Deputy King County Executive. Bellevue lawyer Randy Gordon was appointed in his place as State Senator.[2]
