Fred Marriott (politician)

Frederick Arthur Marriott (7 July 1910 24 September 1994) was an Australian politician.

The son of Frank Marriott, Frederick was born in Elliot. He was elected to the Tasmanian House of Assembly in 1946 as a Liberal member for Bass. He was Chair of Committees from 1955 to 1959. In 1961 he resigned to contest the federal seat of Bass, but was unsuccessful.[1]
