Frederick "Fred" Brindle (January→March 1909[1]) birth registered in Sculcoates district, was an English professional rugby league footballer of the 1930s, and 1940s, playing at representative level for England, and Yorkshire, and at club level for Hull Kingston Rovers, Huddersfield, and Castleford, as a Loose forward/Lock, i.e. number 13, during the era of contested scrums.[2][3][4]

Fred Brindle won a cap for England while at Huddersfield in 1933 against Other Nationalities.[5]

Fred Brindle played Loose forward/Lock in Yorkshire's 9-10 defeat by Lancashire at Athletic Grounds, Rochdale on Saturday 12 February 1938.
County League appearances
Fred Brindle played in Castleford's victory in the Yorkshire League during the 1938–39 season.
Challenge Cup final appearances
