Frederick Gunton
Frederick Gunton, born 1813 in Norwich, and died 1888 in Chester, was an English Organist.
Life
He was the son of Thomas Gunton and Mary and he studied organ under Alfred Pettet at St Peter Mancroft in Norwich.
He is buried in Upton churchyard.
Career
He was :
- organist of Southwell Minster 1835–41
- Organist of Chester Cathedral 1841–71
