Frederick Towne Mall

Frederick Towne Mall was a mall located in Frederick, Maryland. The mall opened in 1972 on U.S. Route 40 along the "golden mile".[1] The mall is now completely abandoned except for Boscov's and The Home Depot, being the lone tenants remaining at the mall. The interior of the mall is completely shut off. The land is planned for redevelopment.[2] Walmart was planning to open in the redevelopment.
