Carl Fredrik Backman is a Swedish columnist, blogger and writer. He is the author of My Grandmother Asked Me to Tell You She's Sorry and A Man Called Ove. Both were number one bestsellers in his native Sweden and have been published around the world in more than twenty-five languages.[1]
Biography
Fredrik Backman grew up in Helsingborg. He has been writing for Helsingborgs Dagblad and Moore Magazine. He debuted in 2012 with the novel A Man Called Ove. It was filmed into A Man Called Ove (film) which premiered on 25 December 2015.[2] Backman is married to Neda Shafti Backman.[3]
