The Dauphin Royal was a 74-gun ship of the line of the French Royal Navy. In 1747, she was rebuilt at Brest and reduced to 70 guns.

She notably took part in the Battle of Quiberon Bay under captain d'Uturbie Fragosse, and in the Battle of Ushant.

She was decommissioned in 1783.
