Friedrich-Wilhelm Buschhausen (11 December 1908 – 1 October 2004) was a highly decorated Unteroffizier in the Wehrmacht during World War II. He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Friedrich-Wilhelm Buschhausen was captured by American troops during the fall of Tunisia. He was held captive until 1947.
