Fruit Tree Planting Foundation
The Fruit Tree Planting Foundation is a charity, promoting establishment of fruit trees for the benefit of people and nature.[1] Based in Mill Valley, California,[2] the program helps improve the quality of life in urban areas. By planting fruit trees an areas such as city parks,[3][4] communities are beautified, and food is provided for the poor and homeless.[5]
Children are often invited, and enjoy helping to plant the trees.[6][7]
The Foundation's president is nutritionist, David Wolfe.[8]
Its chief arborist, Rico Montenegro, details his work with the project here.
