Fuat Avni, is an anonymous twitter phenomenon, mostly known with anti-Justice and Development Party leaks and tweets. Its name "Fuat" is a Turkish male given name, but its real gender is unknown. It tweeted its first tweet on 18 April 2014,[1] as of May 2016 it has more than 2 million followers.[2]

Contents of its claims

It claims undisclosed government talks, 2013 corruption scandal, some irregularities during elections, secret operations with the government and Cemaat. He generally refers Recep Tayyip Erdoğan as BB (Turkish for PM), Tiran (tyrant), Başçalan (a pun with PM, meaning Prime Thief), Yezid (Yazid I, second Umayyad Caliph known as tyrant for some scholars), Faşist (fascist). He uses his iconic "Korkma, titre" (Don't be afraid, shake) occasionally.

Calims on its identity

As of May 2016, it is unknown who it is or they are. Different people occasionally claimed to be him, however none of these claims got proved.[3][4]
