fuckthelivingfuckthedead is a recording of a poetry reading given by Nick Tosches at the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris, on March 24, 2001. The reading was part of the exhibition "Les Années Pop". For a large part of the performance he is backed by a small ensemble of musicians. The album title comes from a line in "Wild Leaves/Passing".
