Fugget About It is a Canadian adult animated sitcom created by Nicholas Tabarrok and Willem Wennekers for Teletoon's late night block, Teletoon at Night. The show is rated 18A for sexuality, violence, and profanity. The show was created from the Pilot Project contest on Teletoon. The show premiered in the United States, exclusively on Hulu on October 13, 2013.[1][2]
On June 9, 2014, it was announced that a third season of the show has been ordered.[3] It was revealed at Fan Expo Canada 2015 that the third season would air in November on Adult Swim.[4]
Plot
The series follows a New York Mafia capo (Jimmy Falcone) who moves to Regina, Saskatchewan to join the Witness Protection Program because he kills his mob boss.[5][6] While pleading for Cheech's life, Don Gambini made it clear to Jimmy that he had no choice but to kill his uncle, then after making a sexual innuendo about Jimmy's oldest daughter which ultimately leads to Don Gambini's death by being thrown out of a 19th floor window.
Cast
- Jimmy Falcone (MacDougall) voiced by Tony Nappo - The man who rats out his former mob members to the FBI and has his family relocated to Regina, Saskatchewan via witness protection. He consistently calls the city "Vagina" (amongst many other malapropisms) as opposed to Regina and works for the Regina Tourism Office. His ill-fated attempts to meld his mobster lifestyle with the Canadian way drives many of the plots of the series.
- Cookie Falcone (MacDougall) voiced by Jacqueline Pillon - The sensible wife of Jimmy Falcone (MacDougall). She loves her children but hates Uncle Cheech due to him being the reason their family had to move in Canada.
- Uncle Cheech Falcone (MacDougall) voiced by Chuck Shamata - Jimmy's uncle and the reason the Falcone family is in witness protection.
- Theresa Maria Falcone (MacDougall) voiced by Emilie-Claire Barlow - The oldest daughter of Jimmy and Cookie. She is a sixteen-year-old, and incredibly ditzy, often using her looks to gain favor with the boys of her school.
- Peter "Petey" Frampton Falcone (MacDougall) voiced by Danny Smith - The only son and middle child of Jimmy and Cookie. He is a straight A student, eco-friendly activist and pacifist. His personality contrasts with that of his family.
- Gina Falcone (MacDougall) voiced by Linda Kash - The youngest daughter of Jimmy and Cookie. She is seven years old, and takes after her father and uncle in her mobster mentality.
- Special Agent Strait McCool voiced by Ted Atherton - A well-meaning and friendly RCMP Mountie agent assigned to oversee the MacDougall family, and an ever-present thorn in Jimmy's side whenever the latter attempts to pull off a scheme. He is a parody of the Canadian Mountie Dudley Do-Right from The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show in the segment "Dudley Do-Right and the Mounties", right down to his voice and a horse named Horse. His catchphrase seems to be "For Canada, and whatever she stands for!" Thus all and all, Strait McCool is your average "Mountie stereotype" and "Stereotype Canadian".
