Göran Petersson
Not to be confused with Göran Pettersson.
Göran Petersson, born 1942, is a Swedish lawyer, sailor and sports official.
Petersson got his law degree (jur.kand.) from Lund University in 1967, and has been a lawyer since 1977. He works at Advokatfirman Vinge in Gothenburg.[1]
Since 2004, Petersson is the president of the International Sailing Federation (ISAF), when he succeeded Paul Henderson.[2] In 2009, he was proposed as a new member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) by IOC's executive committee.[3]
