The GMMSF Box-Office Entertainment Award for Box-Office Queen is an award presented annually by the Memorial Scholarship Foundation, led by Corazon Samaniego. It was first awarded at the 1st GMMSF Box-Office Entertainment Awards ceremony, held in 1971; Nora Aunor received the award for having 18 films in the year 1970, and it is given in honor of an actress whose films set the highest box-office record in the film industry.[1]
Sharon Cuneta is the only actress to be elevated to the Box Office Hall of Fame in 1990 by holding the Box Office Queen title five times since 1984;[2] and later on holding the most box office queen titles in history with nine.
