GNU fcrypt is a disk encryption software in development, that allows many hidden partitions and provides plausible deniability.[3] This project is part of the GNU project.[2][3] In November 2012 Richard Stallman, dubbed fcrypt as an official GNU project, after that this program is called GNU fcrypt.[3] This program allows automatic and transparent encryption (called on the fly encryption).[3] Then the data is accessed like unencrypted hard disks.[3] This program has resistance to being cracked by quantum computers.[4]
