G D Goenka Public School

G. D. Goenka Public School often informally referred to simply as Goenka is a private school located in New Delhi, India. It was started by the Gayatri Devi Goenka Group in 1994. The group runs educational institutions from pre-school to post-graduate institutes.

Legacy

In 1994 the group set up its first school - GD Goenka Public School, Vasant Kunj, with 23 students in its first year. Now the school has more than 3500 students. The school has been recognized by the Directorate of Education Delhi and affiliated to the CBSE. The faculty on board has the Heads of academic management from schools and universities. The school has 18 branches.

The school has firsts like the first yellow bus and the first centrally air-conditioned school.

G.D Goenka Education City

The GD Goenka Education City is spread over 60 acres in the picturesque foothills of the Aravalli Range, Sohna Gurgaon Road, just 29 km from Delhi's International Airport. It offers day boarding, full boarding (hostel), and the school is rated among the best in Delhi-NCR region

The facility offers programs ranging from Nursery to MBA level, and includes GD Goenka World School offering IB/IGCSE curriculum and GD Goenka World Institute offering undergraduate and postgraduate Degree from Lancaster University, UK.
