Gadsden State Community College is a two-year institution of higher learning located in Gadsden, Anniston, and Centre, Alabama. The college's service area includes Calhoun, Cherokee, Cleburne, Etowah, and parts of St. Clair counties.

Academics

The college enrolls 6,000 students and is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.[2][3]

Campuses

As of 2015, the college has four campuses and two centers: the Wallace Drive Campus, the East Broad Campus, the Ayers Campus, the Valley Street Campus, the McClellan Center, and the Gadsden State Cherokee Center.[4]

Student life

Athletics

The college fields intercollegiate teams in men's tennis, men's and women's basketball, softball, and volleyball as a member of the Alabama Community College Conference.[5] The college's mascot is the Cardinal.
