History

The original face of the mall in 2002.
After the expansion in 2009.

The Gaisano South Group of Companies started the construction of the mall sometime in September 2001. It was opened on November 30, 2002 and was named "Gaisano City Kalibo". However, it was renamed to "Gaisano Capital Kalibo" after the Heva Management Group took over the operation of the mall in 2007.

The mall underwent a major renovation after its first level floor was flooded due to the Typhoon Frank(Fengshen) in June 2008.

In April 2009, after the adjacent gas station had transferred to another location, the vacant lot left by the gas station was used for the expansion of the building. On the same month, they have started the construction and in September 2009, the expansion was formally opened.
