The Purus jacamar (Galbalcyrhynchus purusianus) or chestnut jacamar is a species of bird in the Galbulidae family.
It is found in Bolivia, Brazil, and Peru. Its natural habitats are subtropical and tropical swamps and heavily degraded former forest.
