Gambrostola is a genus of moth in the family Gelechiidae. It contains the species Gambrostola imposita, which is found in South Africa.[1][2]

The wingspan is about 12 mm. The forewings are pale ochreous, with scattered blackish and fuscous scales and with costal edge dark fuscous towards the base. There is a small sub-basal blackish dot beneath the costa. The stigmata are blackish, the plical rather obliquely before the first discal, the second discal larger. There is a spot of grey suffusion with some black scales on the costa beyond the second discal. There are undefined marginal dots of blackish irroration around the posterior part of the costa and termen. The hindwings are pale grey.[3]
