Game Software Rating Regulations

Game Software Rating Regulations (Chinese: 遊戲軟體分級管理辦法; pinyin: Yóuxì ruǎntǐ fēnjí guǎnlǐ bànfǎ), also translated as Game Software Rating Management Regulations, is the video game content rating system used in Taiwan.

Ratings

The system uses five ratings:[1]

Abbreviation Rating
普遍級 (General Public) (G) – All ages may use such software. (Not Allowed Taiwanese Nintendo 3DS Games.)
保護級 (Protected) (P) – Only persons of age 6 and above may use such software. (Lowest Rating of Taiwanese Nintendo 3DS Games.)
輔12級 (Parental Guidance 12) (PG 12) – Only persons of age 12 and above may use such software
輔15級 (Parental Guidance 15) (PG 15) – Only persons of age 15 and above may use such software.
限制級 (Restricted) (R) – Only persons of age 18 and above may use such software.
