Waiter! (French: Garçon!) is a 1983 French film directed by Claude Sautet and starring Yves Montand, Nicole Garcia, Jacques Villeret, Marie Dubois, Dominique Laffin, and Bernard Fresson. It received 4 César nominations, for Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor (twice) and Best Sound.
Plot
Alex is an aging waiter who dreams of becoming a singer. He also wants to show that he is as virile as he was when he was young and starting out as a waiter. When former lover Claire reenters his life after 17 years, he gets his chance to show off his musical skills.
