The silver-eared laughingthrush (Trochalopteron melanostigma) is a species of bird in the Leiothrichidae family. It is found in China, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam. It was formerly considered a subspecies of the chestnut-crowned laughingthrush, G. erythrocephalus.
