Garry Williams (theologian)

Garry John Williams is an English theologian and academic. He is currently the director of the John Owen Centre, which is part of the London Theological Seminary. He is also visiting professor of Historical Theology at the Westminster Theological Seminary.

Early life and education

Williams obtained his degree and masters at Christ Church, Oxford, and his doctorate at Queen's College, Oxford.[1]

Career

Williams held the position of academic Dean at Oak Hill Theological College.[2]

In 2014 he is serving on the leadership at ChristChurch Harpenden as an elder.[3]

Williams writes extensively in theological journals[4][5] and presents papers at theological conferences.[6][7] His ideas are frequently the subject of debate and discussion by other theologians[5][8][9]

Williams is married and has four children.
