Gary Miller (born 15 April 1987) is a Scottish footballer who plays as a defender for Partick Thistle in the Scottish Premiership. He previously played for Livingston, Ross County and St Johnstone, as well as Ayr United on loan.
Career
Livingston
Miller made forty league appearances for Livingston during his six year spell at the club. He spent time on loan at Ayr United in 2006 where he scored his first league goal, and also spent time on loan with Ross County between 2007-2008. He would make a permanent switch to Ross County a year later.
Ross County
Miller helped Ross County win the 2011–12 Scottish First Division and promotion to the Scottish Premier League. Later that spring, however, Miller signed for St Johnstone.[1][2]
St Johnstone
Miller joined Scottish Premiership club St Johnstone in 2012, spending three years at the club where he was part of the side that competed in successive Europa League qualifiers. At the end of the 2014-2015 season his contract was not renewed, and he subsequently joined Partick Thistle after a trial spell.
Partick Thistle
Gary Miller signed a one year contract with Scottish Premiership team Partick Thistle on 20 July 2015 after spending the summer on trial with the club.[3] He scored his first goal for the club, a 25-yard volley against his former team St Johnstone in a 2-1 win for Thistle.[4]
