Gary H. Price is a professional rugby league footballer of the 1980s and '90s, and coach of the 2000s, playing at representative level for Great Britain, and at club level for Wakefield Trinity Wildcats (twice) (captain) (Heritage #997), South Sydney Rabbitohs, Featherstone Rovers, and York, as a Wing, Centre, Second-row, or Loose forward/Lock, i.e. number 2 or 5, 3 or 4, 11 or 12, 13, and coaching at club level for Featherstone Rovers.

Playing career

International honours

Gary Price won a cap for Great Britain while at Wakefield Trinity in 1991 against Papua New Guinea (sub).[1]

County Cup Final Appearances

Gary Price played Right-Second-row, i.e. number 12, in Wakefield Trinity's 8–11 defeat by Castleford in the 1990 Yorkshire Cup final during the 1990–91 season at Elland Road, Leeds on Sunday 23 September 1990, and played Left-Second-row, i.e. number 11, and scored a try in the 29–16 victory over Sheffield Eagles in the 1992 Yorkshire Cup final during the 1992–93 season at Elland Road, Leeds on Sunday 18 October 1992.[2]

Division Two Premiership Final Appearances

Gary Price played Left-Second-row, i.e. number 11, in Featherstone Rovers' 20–16 victory over Workington Town in the Division Two Premiership final during the 1992–93 season at Old Trafford, Manchester on 19 May 1993.[3]

First Division Grand Final Appearances

Gary Price played Left-Second-row, i.e. number 11 in Featherstone Rovers's 22–24 defeat by Wakefield Trinity in the 1998 First Division Grand Final at McAlpine Stadium, Huddersfield on 26 September 1998.[4]
