Gautam Rode (born 14 August 1977) is an Indian actor and television host. Born and bought up in Delhi,[3] He did his first lead show Lucky in 2005.[4] He played the lead role of Saraswatichandra in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's show Saraswatichandra. He was awarded Best Actor at the 145th Dada Saheb Phalke Award for the show in 2014.[5][6] He also played the role of Rudra in the daily soap opera Maha Kumbh.[7] He has also done commercial advertisements for Fogg deo, Clinic Plus, Surf Excel, Center Fresh. Titan Watches, Coca Cola, Vennesa deo. mist deo, Toyota, Jai Soap, Ponds Cream, Fair And Lovely and Lays Chips. Currently he is seen in Sony TV's mythological show Suryaputra Karn as Karna.
