Gay-Jay Montessori was a private school in Ann Arbor, Michigan that operated from 1963 through 1995. It was founded by Michelle Pesek, who changed the name of the school to "Michelle Norris Montessori" in the 1980s or 1990s.[1] Pesek named the school after two of her children, Gayle and Jayne.[2] The school was located in a house in a residential neighborhood near Ferry Field at the University of Michigan.[3]
