General Education Academy also known as GEA is an English medium school located in Chembur, Mumbai. The School follows the SSC curriculum prescribed by the Maharashtra board. The 'General Education Academy Trust' was founded in June 1963 by the then Chief Minister Shri. Marotrao Kannamwar. Mr. V. L. Shanbag (Principal and Executive Secretary), has been in charge of the school for the past twenty-eight years. There have been changes in the chair of the headmaster.

The school recently celebrated on completing 50 years on July 13, 2013.

Campus

There are 2 cameras in every class room and 3 in the corridor.The school has AV room, science lab, computer lab, etc. helpful for students.

Golden Jubilee Celebrations

The school completed 50 years on 27 Sep 2014 and thereby hoisted a program at the Fine Arts Gallery, Chembur, Mumbai. The Program was attended by the school, alumni and ex-teachers.
