Genome Institute of Singapore
The Genome Institute of Singapore (GIS) is a research institute in Singapore. It was established by the Agency for Science, Technology and Research in 2003 and is located on the Biopolis biomedical city. The goal of the institute is to use genomic sciences to improve public health and public prosperity.
The GIS scientific advisory board includes Professor Morris Birnbaum, Professor Edward Rubin, Professor Pavel A. Pevzner and Professor Nicholas J. Schork.
