Geometroidea is the superfamily of geometrid moths in the Lepidoptera. It includes the families Geometridae, Uraniidae, and Sematuridae (Minet and Scoble, 1999). The monotypic Apoprogones was considered a separate geometroid family of Apoprogonidae by a minority but is now subsumed under the Sematuridae.
