Awards Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross

Georg von Sodenstern (15 November 1889 – 20 July 1955) was a highly decorated General der Infanterie in the Wehrmacht during World War II who commanded the 19. Armee. He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership.
