George Champion (cricketer)
George Ernest Champion (15 July 1867 – 30 September 1933) was an English cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-pace bowler who played for Kent. He was born in Stockbury and died in Linton.
Champion played in a non-first-class Gentlemen v. Players match in May 1892, scoring 6 runs and 29 runs when opening the batting in the first and second innings respectively.
Champion's only first-class appearance came the following month against Somerset, in which he failed to score a run in either innings in which he batted.
