George Hanmer Leycester (born 12 July 1763 in Simpson, Buckinghamshire; died 6 October 1838) was an English amateur cricketer who made 50 known appearances in first-class cricket matches between 1790 and 1808.

Leycester was mainly associated with Surrey but also represented the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC), of which he was a prominent early member.[1] He was an occasional patron of cricket, his own team appearing in a couple of matches.

Leycester played for the Gentlemen in the inaugural and second Gentlemen v Players matches in 1806.[2][3]

He was educated at Eton but little is known about Leycester. He is not mentioned in Scores & Biographies except in the scorecards.
