George Marzbach

George Marzbach (born 1876) was a Jew Belgian lawyer was a head of a mixed courts in Egypt, the founder of the Egyptian club Zamalek as it was named Qasr Al-Nil in 1911.

His Professional life

Was a senior lawyer in Egypt. And one of the guests who was invited by Hussein Kamel of Egypt to Abdeen Palace, both in official banquets or for advice and opinion. Has graced by the Sultan Bakoiah title along with other medals like Nichane noble, Nishan Alljeon Donner . And he had a distinctive legal experience and for that he became one of the few advisors who Baron Empain listened to them and meet them or needs them when he was founding suburb of Heliopolis. And one of the few lawyers that the Attorney General heard them and take their advice as he seeks to resolve the constitutional crisis between King Fouad and Saad Zaghloul Pasha. Or resorted to King Fouad fighting a legal war have rebelled law courts against Mustafa el-Nahhas.

His contributions

Marzbach won the Confidence of his fellow lawyers and elected captain of the lawyers in front of the mixed courts. Foundation of Zamalek SC

He founded of Zamalek under the name of Qasr al-Nil and its Belgian secretaries Mr. Shoduan then Mr. Bouchut. He then moved to place the High Court now and changed its name to Club Al-Mokhtalat. Zamalek started out and continued under the presidency of Merzbach until 1915 then he moved away from the club and all about sports. leaving the presidency to the French Nicolas Arfagi Bianchi who was also plays as a left-winger in the club's football team.
