George Albert Mole is a fictional character from the Adrian Mole books by Sue Townsend.
Biography
George was born in the mid-forties to parents Albert (or Arnold/Arthur) and Edna May Mole. He was the elder brother to Susan Mole, his sister, who married a woman called Amanda and works in Holloway Prison.
He fell in love with his future wife, Pauline, and they married, having a son, Adrian. Pauline rejected their child for a year, leaving George to look after him and take the names thrown at him.
