George More O'Ferrall
Edward George More O'Ferrall (4 July 1907, Bristol, Gloucestershire, England – 18 March 1982, Ealing, London, England) was a British film and television director.[1]
In 1948, he was awarded the first RTS (Royal Television Society) Medal (a television 'Oscar') for his two-part production of Hamlet. In 1964, he was awarded the RTS Baird Medal for his outstanding contribution to television.[2] In 1973, he was awarded the RTS Gold Medal.[3]
